Emily and Monty got married at Mount Folly Farm in Devon, a place that already held so many memories for them. It felt like the perfect spot to bring together all the people they love for one huge celebration.
The guest list was long, and the marquee by the sea was packed with friends and family who had travelled from all over to be there. From the moment people arrived, there was a real buzz in the air. Old friends caught up, families reunited, and everyone seemed genuinely excited to celebrate with them.
The weather was unbelievable. Not a cloud in the sky, warm sunshine all day, and just enough of a breeze coming in from the sea to keep things comfortable. Guests spent as much time outside as they did in the marquee, making the most of the views across the coastline and the beautiful surroundings of the farm.
The ceremony was relaxed, happy, and full of smiles. There were plenty of laughs, a few tears, and lots of cheering when Emily and Monty were finally pronounced husband and wife.
As the day went on, the food flowed, the drinks kept coming, and the speeches had everyone laughing one minute and wiping away tears the next. There were stories from years gone by, plenty of gentle teasing, and lots of reminders of why Emily and Monty are such a great match.
As evening arrived, the sun began to drop over the sea, giving everyone one of those Devon sunsets that seem almost too good to be real. People gathered outside with drinks in hand, enjoying the view before heading back into the marquee for the party.
The dance floor stayed busy all night. Friends, family, and a few people who probably shouldn't have been attempting certain dance moves all gave it their best effort. There was music, laughter, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you wish the night could go on a little longer.
For everyone who was there, it was one of those days that will be talked about for years—a brilliant wedding, a stunning location, perfect weather, and two very happy people at the centre of it all.
